ok ladies. since no one else stepped up and made any predictions i will put the burden on my own shoulders. I just wanted to let all y'all know that "Six" is no good. "Dogg Pound" is also no good. "Southside" i haven't played yet, but i heard they have kenny ferguson, so they can't be any good either. The team to watch out for is "Air Assault"! Not cuz we practice like the rest of you, but juz cuz we're blessed like you wouldn't believe.

wow, now you've gone and opened up a whole can of somethin you dont want. It must be easy to talk when you know you dont play us until the last game of the regular season. I mean, just look at the stats. I have 74 points in 6 games. no-one is even close. And i was just having fun. Now im pissed. You guys lost to the vipers 36-34. we beat em 45 - 20. And we started the game with 5 guys. The bosos beat you 14 - 7. We beat em by 2 scores. With me in as back-up qb. Just imagine if we had our real qb. Would've been ugly. You lost 19 to nothing to the mighty schmucks?!? we beat them too. And on top of all this now you wanna get us mad? You must be f*ck!n crazy. Im gonna score 4 touchdowns against you ( i hope you've got the balls to cover the fastest guy in the league) and our qb is gonna throw for 6. You guys are 3 and 3 for christs sake. Oh ya, if dogg pound is no good and you beat them by 6 points, and six is no good and you beat them by one, you must be just slightly better than no good yourselves. When we play a team thats no good we smoke em. period. But you dont have to take my word for it. Just wait until september. You'll see first hand.

Oh ya, one more thing, if you're man enough to call someone out, be man enough to put your name so they can call you a b*tch when they jog into the endzone behind you.

Anyways I was just wondering about one thing there Mr Persad - how do you start a game with only 5 guys?? last time I checked you needed 7 to start unless the other team agrees you can start with 6??

That burn about running into the endzone was priceless by the way, your right if a guy doesn't leave his name or number his post is worthless....

i played ball with you derek. i'm surprised you don't know who darkness is (paul shawa #6). I live on the same street as big bad kenny ferguson, so i feel using his name is only just. now! your team ain't undefeated either man, so tell me who beat you guys. Now unless you guys lost to urselves, ur team ain't no good neither. we were missing guys when we lost to the bosos and vipers. i'm happy you won a game where u started with 5 (although thats impossible), but the fact of the matter is we have yet to play and it should be a good one. you lead the div in scoring, but as i see it, yo played qb early on and all you did was scramble in. granted, i know u fast, i've seen u ball, but we can't really talk that big of a game until our teams face off now can we?

i think it should be a good game but my prediction for a final score is

air assault 74 southside 12 (thats you calling your own number twice for two scores, and keeping the div lead in scoring)

As for starting with 5, we took a timeout and waited for one more. And as for all that other bullsh*t comin outta your mouth you better hope ur injured or on your period on the day we play so you have an excuse.(ref, timeout, i tripped on my tampon string and hurt my ankle) Your "team game" hasnt produced more than 15 points with the exception of one (of the 3) games you lost. I meanwhile have scored more than that alone in three of our wins. How you expect to score 74 against us is completely beyond me considering the db you're spoutin off to has 3 pics already and we also have two bison db's other than him. So you go on ahead and stay playin .500 ball with your team game. We'll keep on racking up to points (195 after six games) and the wins and if you wanna talk you'll have to speak up, the air's thin up at the top and its hard to hear you way down in the middle.

Oh ya loser, if all i did was scramble in, how the hell do you account for my 9 td passes compared to your qb's 4? Matter of fact if you add up all the td passes thrown by your entire team i still have more. And i only played 2 games at qb. Before you start throwin out rumours, check the stats. Take a second away from you hotmales.com account and check the stats page.

And also, b*tchin about me running it in is like complaing about chad johnson only catching td's. Im not a qb so i stick to my strengths. If teams didnt want me to scramble they should find a way to stop me. (good luck). Points are points and we got the wins. And i still threw 9.

P.s. and i dont care if you live on the same street as kenny, you're still not even in the same neighbourhood as him. ( if you cant get the joke ask your boyfriend to explain it to you.)

p.p.s Marty, read it one more time. i wont be running into the endzone, ill be jogging. This loser doesnt stand a chance. Maybe as a charitable donation you could inform him of what he's getting himself into. You've seen us play. You know how bad its gonna get for him. Hey Darkness,

You guys beat us by a point (a rouge) which is something that hasen't happened to us in almost a year (18 games). You scored on us when we had six guys on the field (our fault for not fielding enough guys at the start), and we were missing some(7) guys to injuries and the like. I have no excuses. You guys are a decent football club and you proved it by beating the best team in the division. Congratulations. Enjoy your freebie.

I've seen all the teams play in div. 4 and hands down.. southside is the team to beat.their only lose came to us in the first game of the season, and granted they looked out of rythm, and we just barely beat them. and as far as air assault goes about claiming other teams are no good, last time i checked the teams you bashed are ahead of you in the standings. you guys barely beat us, if it wasnt for the events that happened at the end of the game, we would still be on our winning streak. anyways good luck to all div. 4 teams.

I guess I missed the memo stating that a 3 and 3 record is better then a 4 and 1 or 5 and 1 or 6 and 1 record. Until such time as you have the award for winning division 4, you guys still have to prove yourself.

I wish there were more posts that relate to competition on the field, instead of bickering and knit picking about field conditions/statistics.

When do the SS Trojans play Air Assult next? If we have a game on the same day, i'll actually come out and watch. I'm sure we'll be revisiting this post after you've played.

whats up phil.. we dont play till our last game of the season on like september 16th or something like that. but me and eric rout are gonna embarass them by destroying them on the field and then taking any girls they bring to the game home with us. If they can get any girls to go anywhere with them that is.

1) dear derek. i call myself darkness cuz i'm black. and i do refuse to fade into it, cuz you're prolly gonna have to make me do that in september. as for continuing your campaign for best play ever...i'm not denying your scoring potential... but even ladanian tomlinson can throw td's... you've played teams that don't got sh*t on us ok. we lost games early cuz we had no players... and i'm sure if u look at ur record, ur not undefeated either hot shot! you can say i'm playin .500 ball, but last time i checked, you weren't batting 1.000 all star. you lost to dogg pound and we beat 'em... now you could say u were lacking peepz, but u'd be arguing my point as well...don't talk a big game if u got none to show. u got game persad, but not enuf to roll with the best.

2) oh adam...u can jaw about ur 18 game streak all u want homeboy...as far as i know, you are on a losing streak right now and i pray you get out of it. theres a new sheriff in town, and honestly, saying anything in this room only makes sense for teams who can hold their own, and u ain't one of them. good luck against the bosos dude....talk to me, when that streak gets up to 5 again :)

3) dear kojak and rpilloud...who's A$$ are u guys kissing... no matter if u play for SS or just trying to get on their squad, the antics can stop! they are no good, and neither is any team u guys play for....there is no front runner in div 4! and if any of you guys think there is...step up and beat air assault, cuz we just a avg team, out to get ours....2 of the the top teams couldn`t stop us...and SS, out of all the teams, you especially stand no chance.

Wow, derek maybe you should stop promoting yourself and talk about your whole team, because im sure there is more to it then you. All i know is that you guys lost to six last year, a couple times im sure, and we beat them.
I hope you guys, six and dogg pound are all putting up the stats early in the year because you have all been playing together for what...3 years now. We are a new team, and the O will get going...all our losses were early in the year and other than the loss to the bosos (which was the first game) we were pretty much short guys-not too make excuses, a loss is a loss, but we are better than our record.
Its about time we had some talk going on...it will be a good year...but derek i wouldn't take it too personal! Hey, maybe that last game of the year will be a good warm up for canad inns stadium!
Oh ya, and six...last time i checked we were missing some guys as well, and we had a qb who was told by the doc the next day, that his "bicep is tearing from his bone"! and i think the score was alittle closer than it should have been.

wow "air assualt" is just full of excuses, not enough guys, qb is hurt...yeah yeah. you guys go on a little winning streak, and you guys think your the team to beat, come on man give your head a shake. you know what unless your unbeaten, any team can win any given game. and to just bash teams in div 4...man i sure hope you guys can back it up. and maybe next time doggpound plays you guys , tell your qb not to be soo scared to throw the ball to my side.

Let's clear a few things up.

This is actually the start of our second year together, we split with SS last year, and last I remeber, you guys played together in Canford. So that would not make you a new team. You have just as much time together, if not more, than we do. You should get your facts straight before you shoot your mouth off Anonymous AA20.

As for the score, you're right; it was a lot closer than it should have been.

You guys are pretty good at shooting your mouths off for a 3-3 team. Make excuses all you want about your shit record but a loss is a loss. You earned your win against us. No excuses. We had issues that game but it all comes with the territory.

See you in August.

Congratualtions on your 74 points Derek. Too bad 30 of them came in 2 games against the worst team in the division, and the other 44 have come to teams with a .500 record and I don't recall you scoring any points against us (doggpound) when we beat you.

well AA20, as adam already informed you, you retard, we didnt lose to six a couple times last year. just once, as they lost to us just once. So if you're sure, you are either badly misinformed, ignorant, or just plain stupid. As for not scoring any point against the dogg pound its true, you held me off the score sheet, congrats. It wont happen again. The only team that can touch us in this div is six. Its gonna be us and them in the final this year. They know it, and we know it. The rest of you losers are jsut stepping stones. And one more thing, im pretty sure indianapolis didnt go undefeated last year and they won the super bowl, so the trojans one loss and six's one loss are just par for the course. But the last time i checked, no .500 team ever won a championship. And pbebek, you've only got 38 points and of your 5 games played, 4 were against the bottom half of the division. If it was so easy to score points against the lower teams why dont you do it? oh ya, thats right. You're garbage.

That's a pretty bold statement from SST player considering they barely got by Anvils who we beat quite handily......it's early on but I was going to say that Six, SST and DP are the 3 teams to beat and Mighty Smucks are coming on a bit.....Air Assault is feeling good about their victories over DP and Six but that doesn't mean they're the team to beat........turn that 3-3 into 9-3 and then start yappin........DP was leading the Assault 7-6 with 2 minutes to go when Assault went to kick for the tie but somehow we get called for roughing the qb.......Assault gets first down and throws the TD and win 13-7....so you have to give them credit for handing us our only loss but to say they beat us handily is a far cry from the truth.......

We are 4-1 and could be 5-0.......we also could be 1-4 or 2-3.......the only game where we were clicking on all cylinders was against the Anvils. We may have beat the other teams we needed to but we weren't firing on all cylinders and we have to play a hellova lot better if we want to be an elite Div. 4 team.......we certainly can't be satisfied with how we've played this year and got lots to improve on and look forward to........

so for darkness and Derek, you better hope that we haven't found our groove by the next time we play you because if we have, your teams certainly won't be able to stop us

hitting on all cylinders against the anvils is not hard. but if u wanna brag about it you can. ya we're .500 now, but if there is one thing i know for sure, its that we're better than you(DP) and six. SST has got a good squad i know...so i think derek has a reason to tell me off. you on the other hand... lost...then came online and told people how it happened, thinking that it would make your L sound like a W. don't dub yourself a finals team if you can't beat a lowly .500 team. When we play a game again, you will lose and so will six. can't say much about SST, but its almost a lock that if they will meet u in the final, they will be about at ur level (which is also no good). All you gotta do DP and six is beat us! But u tried that already...and as i recall that didn't go over too well.

PS- Chris...when your rusher smokes our qb then has trouble getting up because of the contact, that would be a penalty...but thats just a guess. it all depends on the ref you have out for the game.

Wow....alot of people r talking alot of **** on here and were only 7 games into the season.....I think it is the best when people compare themselves to other teams by the teams that they have played.... right now Paul is right they r better then our team six becasue they beat us...plain and simple...when we play again then we will see again who is better....but i seem to remember that last year our team lost to the bondiddy Bengals by one and then blew them out in the season and the playoffs and then th trojans kicked the crap out of us in the reg season and then we blew them out in the playoffs.... its a long season and u know what everybody is going to lose some games.... we'll just see who is there at the end.... I never thought that i would say this but i agree with Derek and what he has said with us and them in the finals....but i guess which ever team out of us wins today will be the best and the other one is going no where right????

Dude, they treat us so good. We even have our own section reserved for when we go to party it up. Ill see what i can do about a little sideline show. They are actually havin a charity car-wash on june 23rd if anyone is interested. Bunch of hot girls, little clothing, cold beers, good times. All proceeds go to the fire fighters burn fund. Good cause.

Oh ya owen, brandon is gonna need to hire a few dozen more officers, we're gonna tear that town apart....again. I think tackle starts in mid to late august. Time to bulk up. I feel I have to defend the Anvils a bit here. Yeah, we've lost most of our games, but only 2 weren't close. Are we the best team in the division, hell no, but neither are we the doormats as some of you guys are indicating in your posts.

We kept a good SST team to one offensive TD and a pretty good 115 yd punt return by Derek (you have some sic moves dude).

With a couple of better plays by us in our losses to Ninja Militia, Weekend Warriors, Mighty Schmucks and SST, we could have won all of those games and be near the top of the division.

I don't give a crap if Air Assault, Six, DP and SST fight it out here on the forum for who is the best team, just stop referring to the Anvils as the "team good teams are just barely getting by". That must mean we're better than you're giving us credit for.

Oh, by the way, in touch over the last few years I've seen the Woody's win Div 2 after finishing the season with only a few wins. I've also seen a Third Rail Express team (no longer exists) win Div 3 after finishing the regular season in the middle to bottom of the division (Billy B, correct me if I am wrong). Oh, and the Nomads lost in the Div 3 final last year after finishing last in the divison. None of these examples are from Div 4, but just want to point out to you guys new to the league that you don't have to be the top team in the regular season to win it all in the end.

anvils, credit where credit is due. you played us tough. very tough. but be honest with the folks who werent there. our qb threw up 3 times during the game and didnt even show up till just before halftime. We had to start the game with 2 guys in sandles for christs sake. We drink too much as a team and its starting to show. any game before 2 p.m and we're bags of sh*t. but we still win. that game would not have been that close if we had our whole team there, on time, and not hungover. But that takes nothing away from you guys. tough d, quick qb, and good overall team speed. your record doesnt do you justice. But that game didnt do us justice either.

And thanks for the compliment. i juke to entertain. but damn that was a long run, couldnt you punt it only 20 yards next time so i dont have to run so far?

i just finished sacking each and everyone of your quarterbacks 5 times so i apologize for arriving late at this trash talking fest. first thing lets state the obvious, i WILL set a single season record for sacks (not even the refs can deny that from me). Now i'm not saying that any teams suck or anything cause every team has a couple talented individuals and can make a difference in one game like our one man scoring machine Derek. But comon, how can you take pride in putting up 25 pts against 10 year olds and yes thats exactly what you prolly did against blitz in back to back games. Maybe if you guys were able to shut someone out i would be impressed. Cause in the end defense wins championship (NOT one guy on a team that likes to put up pts against the worst teams in the division).
Next, Dog Pound, as i do recall your whole offense revolved around lobbing it up to those to giants and hoping they came down with it, our team won't drop 4 picks again.
Six, and more so the quarterback that i was told i wouldn't sack (sack total was only 3 for the game but you know i got you more times), the only thing your team has on us is organization and you were fortunate to escape with a 1 pts loss. I'll be the first to say that our offense isn't where it will be. That could be due to the fact that we haven't had our snapper for 4 games or that we can't get our WRs to show up consistently.
Vipers you guys have a great QB prolly the best i've seen so far but not enough pieces around him. And Schmucks all i have to say is your 3 team roster won't be big enough to stop what will happen.

PS i do believe i picked up another three sacks while writing this message.

oh this is priceless stuff. Polish Prince is going to set a new sack record? Hmmm, me thinks the guy who currently holds the record is just 2 sacks behind you...not bad for a guy who is significantly older than you and just starting to get into the groove. So you better run up stairs, sack your little sister 4 or 5 times and keep your stats padded.

thanks for the props man, but i can't do anything without the guys behind me holding coverage. if i succeed, it is their victory. all in all it will be a race to the finish cause polish prince does have wheels and a good d behind him. the only thing missing seems to be humility and respect for his opponents. good luck all.

When you talk rushing record, are you just referring to your own division or the whole league?

Just curious becasue otherwise your quite a bit behind Greg Robinson from the Aints in Division 5.

Time Out. Did someone actually play the humility and respect card with me? I have respect for everyone as a human being but when it comes to sports, i give respect where respect is due. As i recall i gave props to who i thought was the best quarterback in the league (Vipers QB) but besides that who am i suppose to show respect. Or i'll show respect to the ref that asked our team if he blew a a pass interference call but refused to ask another opponent about blowing a call on a touchdown catch that was 5 feet out of bounds. No, i prefer not to show respect to BS like that. Will i give props to those teams and players for doing whatever they have to do to win... yes but not show respect. I understand that calls are missed, but don't don't pull out the honesty card when it suits you and give my team some BS about doing honorable thing. Now humble, okay i agree that's not what i'm about when it comes to sports. When i got a guy talking shit about how he'll draw a 5 yard circle and never leave it AND not get sacked. Damn rights i'm goin to talk shit back when i'm in his face all game and our defense dominates him. I give props to my secondary all the time for doin their job and doin it well. That's who i show respect to cause when i f*ck up (and i do F up), they don't give me shit. Unlike a certain QB i recall, always getting mad for dropping a pass here and there. Guess what most of those passes you threw were crap.
Now on a side note who is within two sacks of me and supposedly has the sack record i will break. Just wanna know. Oh, and when i say i will break the record i mean for ALL divisions. I don't handicap a guy for being in a lower division. If he beats me congrats but 8 sack lead can be easily made up.

PS mb325 i didn't sack your mom, i picked her off Higgins. I was playing man coverage on her and was in her backfield all day.

Just to clarify, you say the Vipers Qb is the best in the league, do you mean div? I think you should watch some top div teams before you answer(you may also get some rushing tips), but I don't know you and you may not need any tips to play vs the top Qb's. Good luck with the record (Who has it Barry, Riley, Jazzy,Kelm)?

I am sorry, but this is rediculous. It's obvious that these south side players are jokers. I mean you got brag about scoring 30 points in a div 4 touch game, then claim your the best in the league!? it's obvious these guy's are a bunch of retards. Off the top off my head I can name 3 guys that would lock ANYONE on your team down 2 expose the bitches you really are. Boyd Barret, Suk Singh and Marlon Richards would lock you down so bad you'll never leave div 4. And this is off the top off my head. There are plenty of great players in this league that would shut you up. Come ball against some real athletes and see what happens. Wait...don't even waste your time or mine for that matter cause I stopped pickin on little jokers a few years ago.You need to show some respect to some of the guy's who have been playing in this league for a long time, and have consistantly put up numbers.You can come back with your little burns that we have all heard 1000's of times, but enjoy yourself because this is clearly all you got. later bitches

Well this thread has definitely been entertaining. My name is Jeremy M and I play in the SCFFL which is Manitoba's only Flag Football League. Now I know that you guys all play in Division 4 however I would like to offer the same challange that we laid down to the teams in Top Divisions in your league. Our team is currently 6-0 in our league with 347 points for and 63 against and would like to have a few games against some of the teams in your league. We would gladly play a home and home with any of your teams where we would play our rules in Morden and yours in Winnipeg and we would provide the flags and the beer when you came down. Last year we had an agreement with Sunparties and we came in and played them in Winnipeg losing 62-54 however they never were able to make it back to Morden to play. Our league takes a break for the summer but we would like to play someone that might be able to give us a close game.
